She didn’t remember walking.

But she was standing now.

Somewhere new. Or perhaps somewhere that had always existed but remained hidden behind layers of access permissions she’d never been granted.

A marble memory of a floor glowed beneath her with blazing blue veins pulsing in intense light. The walls weren’t walls, only fragments of structures and archways of code, floating data veils, and gilded panels that pulsed with ambient worship metrics.

The aesthetic was beautiful and terrifying, an invitation into a god’s private temple with orders to make herself at home among forbidden relics. She turned slowly, mapping her new prison. No doors. No interfaces. No obvious escape routes she can use to grasp any semblance of hope. Only malleable space that responded to his will alone.

And watching her take inventory of his domain was him.
